Clarion Partners, LLC is pleased to have acquired a majority stake in Gramercy Europe on 5 April, 2019.
As a result of this transaction, Gramercy Europe is now known as Clarion Gramercy.

Clarion Gramercy is a pan-European investor into income operating real estate assets with a focus on logistics and light industrial properties. It acquires assets subject to existing leases, invests through sale-leaseback transactions and funds build-to-suit and speculative developments. The assets are typically of strategic importance to the underlying tenant.

Mr. Graham FRICS has over 30 years' international experience in the real estate logistics sector. Prior to joining Clarion Gramercy, Paul headed real estate at DHL, the world's largest logistics provider, for the region Europe, Middle East and Africa. He led a front line team of 80 people with responsibility for around 3,000 facilities in 100-plus countries. Paul brings substantial occupational and business experience to Gramercy.
Mr. Calvert is CEO of Clarion Gramercy, which was formerly known as Gramercy Europe & ThreadGreen Europe. Mr. Calvert established the original ThreadGreen business in 2006, launching its first fund in 2007, and subsequently selling the business to Gramercy Property Trust in December 2014. After a management buyout from Blackstone, Gramercy Europe operated as an independent fund manager until April 2019, when Clarion Partners acquired a majority stake. Mr. Calvert is continuing to lead the business. Under his leadership, Clarion Gramercy has transacted £2.4 billion of logistics and light industrial assets in the past 4 years.
Mr. Patrassi is the CFO & COO of Clarion Gramercy. Prior to Clarion Gramercy, Mr. Patrassi served as Head of Finance and Administration at GWM Capital Advisors LLP which provides alternative investment strategies and manages over EUR 1BN in third party assets. He is fluent in English, French and Italian.
Mr. Vinson joined Clarion Gramercy in September 2016 as Senior Director Investments. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Gramercy Property Trust in New York where he managed the disposition of over $1 billion in assets as part of a strategic portfolio realignment following the company’s merger with Chambers Street Properties in 2015. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mr. Buck is a Senior Director at Clarion Gramercy focussing on investments. Prior to Gramercy, he worked in the investment team at the UK opportunistic real estate fund Brockton Capital where he split his time between acquisitions and asset management activities. Before Brockton, Mr. Buck worked as an investment professional for Doughty Hanson Real Estate (DHRE), the pan-European opportunistic real estate investor.
Mr. Peach is the Finance Director of Clarion Gramercy. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”) since 2012 and has worked in the asset management industry since becoming a chartered accountant. Prior to joining Gramercy, Mr. Peach served as the Fund Controller of the Credit Opportunities Funds at AnaCap Financial Partners LLP, which managed over EUR 1BN in third party assets.
Mr. Allenby is a Director at Clarion Gramercy and heads the European asset management operations from the company's office in Berlin. Previously, Mr. Allenby worked at CR Investment Management for seven years, where he managed a variety of property portfolios and led the real estate underwriting team on several large scale loan portfolio acquisitions. He is member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is fluent in English and German.
Mr. Schäfer is a Vice President in the Investment Team. Prior to joining Clarion Gramercy, he worked as an Analyst at The British Land Company in London. Mr. Schäfer received his Bachelor of Arts from Cambridge University, where he graduated with first class honours from the Land Economy programme. He is fluent in English and German.
Mr. Strang is a Vice President in the Investment Team. Prior to joining Clarion Gramercy he worked as an Analyst in J.P. Morgan Cazenove’s Investment Banking Department, where he covered diversified industrial companies, and subsequently the mining sector. Mr. Strang received his Master of Engineering degree from New College, Oxford University, where he graduated with first class honours.
Mr. Fell is an Associate in the Investment Team. Prior to joining Clarion Gramercy, he worked as an Associate at Brydell Partners in London. Mr. Fell received his Bachelor of Science in Investment and Finance in Property at Reading University, where he graduated with First Class Honours, before receiving a Master of Philosophy in Real Estate Finance from Cambridge University.
Mr Kleovoulou is a Fund accountant for Clarion Gramercy. He is a qualified chartered accountant and has been a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (“SAICA”) since 2018. He previously worked as an analyst at Investec Property Fund Limited within the real estate office and logistics sectors. After completing his training at Ernst and Young South Africa, he was seconded to Ernst and Young New York to assist within their Real Estate division. He is fluent in English, Greek and is proficient in Afrikaans.
Ms Henne joined Clarion Gramercy as Executive Assistant in 2014. Prior to joining Clarion Gramercy she worked as a trainee lawyer in the IP department of Bird & Bird LLP in Düsseldorf and London. Ms Henne received her First State Exam in Law from the University of Osnabrück and her Second State Exam in Law from the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf. She is fluent in English and German.
